Help needed on Vectra price..

Hi,

I looking to sell my Dad's 1996 (P) 1.8 GLS Vectra H/B as he has just
bought another car. He is the third owner and it's only done 40500
miles from new. Spotless inside just needs a good T cut to bring the
roof back up to it's original bright red.

Any ideas of it's value?

Look on autotrader or e-bay and see what they're making.
 
The colour will put people off, especially if it has faded. You will
have to get it back to bright red on the bonnet and boot too.

I agree. if it 'just' needs doing, then why not do it yourself. When I'm
buying a car and someone says "..it just needs...." then alarm bells ring
straight away. Why not get one of those cheap polishers-the ones that look
like a motor with 2 handles, driving a round polishing muff- and do it
yourself?
