Nearside suspension

2014 insigniaI have a nasty banging noise when I go over bumps nearside front suspension yet it passes mot any ideas

Normally I'd think "anti-roll bar mounts" or the link rods, but these are covered by your MOT. The only thing I can think of that wouldn't be covered is something like a loose fuse box or battery in the engine bay. If you cann't find anything and are still worried get your mechanic to take it for a drive as I think the MOT is a static test.
