Well I done it bought a 1.8 comfort on a w reg with 31.000 miles. Though its\na ex lex fleet car it was on a long term contract with 1 driver. Looking at\nthe recipes in the glove box it was a lady from Leeds. Full service history\nand service book stamped. Before lex sold it they put on new discs and pads\nall round (shoes and drums rear not sure book just said front and rear\nbreaks and pads replaced) new nears side front calliper windscreen rubber\ntrim known problem I have found out. 4 new tyres and full 40,000 mile\nservice inc break fluid change and documented on a lex history report that\ncomes with the car. the next thing is the belt changes at 60.000 but I may\ndo them sooner.\nThe interior is spotless with no damage to the seats or trim. got the\ngarage that was selling it to throw in 12 months road tax too. screen price\ndidn't include tax.\nvery pleased drives well as good as the 1 year old one I drove from Vauxhall\n( just to see what nearly new drove like compared to a older car.I would\nrecommend doing this to any used car) still has the unused first aid kit in\nthe boot. Oh and the rear cubby hole has a fire extinguisher fitted.\n\nThe only thing that let it down was having to press the throttle slightly to\nget it to start. but I think that was me being inpatient. I turn the key and\nafter about 3 seconds of not firing I touched the throttle and she fired\nup.the car had had its battery off for a week so I assume that could of\nmessed things up. the sales man said he will have it checked and would put\nsome fuel in the fuel light was flashing. now have to wait a week till my\nnext day off so I can collect the car.\n\nI would of liked a Diesel but they are very expensive and like rocking horse\ndung.\nThanks for the advice\nDubster.
