i took my car to my local garage for a full service zafira 2ltr diesel
which included air filter pollen filter and all the usual, after
getting home and parking the car we went out 2 hours later and noticed
a warning light came on it was the car with the spanner threw it, i
know this isnt a service light,is their something they should have
reset or done that they havent i have reset the service indicator by
holding the trip meter button down and then turning the ignition in the
hope this may help but to no avail when i say it comes on, it comes on
after the engine is running for about 10 seconds then goes out and
stays out it might not come on all day or it might come on and stay on
any ideas would be very grateful thx

You haven't said what year it is but if it has the electronic EGR should
make sure they have plugged the wire back on - it is next to the oil filter
and it is easier to get the filter out if you unplug the EGR but people
sometimes forget to plug it back on.

If it was ok when you took it in but isn't now why not take it back and ask
    them to look at it?
