ZAFIRA manufacturer UK?

I have a vauxhall zafira. I would like some details about its origins.
Where is it made ,UK or Germany? Is the gearbox British? Is the engine
British?

 

I am not sure where it is made (Germany I think) but the car is made from
parts from all over Europe. At one stage Vauxhall were bringing some of the
big engines over from Australia!

At one stage Vauxhall exported a car for every car they imported and were a
net importer of cars.

For instance all Opel Vivaros, Renault Trafics & Nissan ? are made at Luton
and exported. In return, Renault make the Movano & Master in France.

I think Vectra Saloon and estates are made at Ellesmere port but hatchbacks
are made in Germany.
