    Hi,
I own a 2002 Zafira 2.2 and I have a picture on the control indicator
(dashboard) of a car with a spanner through it.
According to the owners manual it is for the engine electronics and I have
to contact the Vauxhall dealer ASP.
Has anybody got any ideas what it could be and is their a chance that it
will come under Vauxhall's 3 year warranty so when I book it in I know what
    I am talking about.
    Many thanks

  2. Have you looked in the service book?

The spanner is normally a service due indicator. Is it due a service?

The engine management light (indicating a fault) is an orange engine shape.

Either way I would read the book and call your local dealer. The car will be
under warranty unless you have done more than 60,000 miles.

The later Zafira does have 2 MIL on the dash. One is for the electrics and
immobiliser system, while the other is for fuel and emissions. Basically, it
does need scanning by either a Vauxhall agent, or a competent diagnostic
technician. Flash codes are not available.
