Anyone have any idea when you can tell that a clutch is on its way out. I am
getting some judder when I am moving of or reversing. The Zafira is a 2000
model that I have had for under a year and is still under the NetworkQ
warranty. Could it be something else, any advice would be appreciated.

if it's still under warranty, get them to find out & sort it.

    Hi
I hate to put a damper on the Network Q warranty, but I checked it as my
Vectra is making a small noise which I guess is clutch / release bearing and
    1) If you don't have a full dealer service history - mine was retained /
never given by the dealership at the time of purchase you don't have a
    Network Q warranty
    2)The clutch is not covered!
I rang Network Q who at best would say - take it to the garage and let them
have a look - the garage want to charge for that and I really don't want to
use them as they caused so many problems when I "insisted" on them doing an
    accident repair.
I have been a Vx owner for a lot of years and have driven them over many
miles I've had good service and reliability, but I'm getting to the point
where I am seriously considering leaving Vx altogether - maybe for a
    Japanese vehicle.
Best of luck, I will be interested to learn the outcome of your problems.

Neither of your points are true.

The policy insists that the car is serviced during the warranty period but
this is not unreasonable. There is nothing in the book about services before
you bought the car. Having said that, I would have thought that a NetQ
without a service history is fairly rare.

Secondly, clutches are covered. Read your policy booklet.

You are right Alan about the NetworkQ warranty and that the clutch was
    covered.

Just had the car back from the vauxhall dealer and the problem was the air
filter housing which was loose in its mounting, this was vibrating at low
revs, dealer fixed the problem and the car is fine now.

Another point I wanted to raise was why is there a price difference between
basic service from VX dealer (£115) to that of a VX dealer who offers
    Masterfit (£85) ??
    - is there any difference in the service provided ??

    Thanks for the responses
