ZAFIRA ABS/TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS

My ABS/TC lights are staying lit on a 1999 V plate 1.8 Comfort. They
light on starting the engine, go off for a short period ( 20 - 30
seconds ) and then come back on for the rest of the journey.

Any ideas?
 
done the brakes recently? else.....
typical fault is the lamda senors from each wheel
the connectors near the brakes gets pulled or covered in crud
check each one. by undoing and remating
