    Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me figure out what’s going on with my 2015 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer Elite CDTi 2.0.

    Symptoms:
    • Rapid coolant loss — the expansion/overflow tank is completely empty within a couple of hours of the engine running (even when idling).
    • A fair amount of water present in the turbo area.
    • Water present in the exhaust pipe work (there’s visible water inside the pipe).
    • Water leaking halfway down the exhaust pipe under the car, and water coming out of the exhaust tip as well.
    • Radiator water level dropping rapidly.
    • No visible external coolant leak in the vicinity of the EGR cooler, its surrounding area, or associated hoses.
    • Engine still runs normally with no obvious drips or puddles forming under the engine bay.

Given all the above, I suspect it’s an internal coolant leak, but I’m uncertain whether it’s the head gasket, EGR cooler, turbo coolant lines, or something else.

I’ve visually inspected all hoses, connections, and the EGR-cooler area and found no cracks or external seepage. The coolant loss occurs even while idling, not only under load, and there’s excessive water and condensation throughout the exhaust system.

Any insight or experiences from others with the same engine or model would be greatly appreciated.
