Would this engine+gearbox fit in a Vectra?

An elderly relative of mine has an astra 1.8 16 valve Eco tech (M-reg)
    Sport.
It has failed the mot on rust but has a good engine and gearbox.
So I was going to scrap the car but keep the engine and box.

I have a P-reg Vectra 1.8 would the engine and gearbox fit straight into my
    car?
Is the astra fitted with a hydraulic clutch like the Vectra?
Are the engine mounts the same on the Astra and vectra?

The car is presently 100 miles away from me and the owner has no mechanical
    knowledge to help me.
I just need to check that they will fit before going to collect the car.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would consult a garage that specialises in fitting replacement engines for
that answer and to find out if there are any hidden costs!

should do, using the existing veccy mounts (both gbox and engine)... not
sure on the type of mounts veccies use thou, should be interchangable as
the basic block should be the same.

Oh and the connector on the wiring loom will differ most probably...
    this is the tricky bit
