wires under seats

    I've had this v-reg astra estate for over a year but only just discovered
    that there are some wires connected to a box under both front seats. Any
    ideas what they could be for?

    Could be trigger wires for the seatbelt tensioners. dont unplug them. If I'm
    right, they are part of the airbag system.

    Yes, seat belt pre-tensioner wires.
