wiper live wire has no power .....

i have a 2002 vauxhall astra club estate,
the wipers do not returne to the bottom when they are turned off.
i have checked for constant power on the green wire that goes to the motor,
there is no power going to the motor, if i feed power to the green
(permanent live) the wipers work properly,
the problem i have , is that i cannot find where the wire go to behind the
    dash.
do any one know where the wire go to?
do it go to a fuse (all fuses are ok) or do it go to a relay or just to a
wire that is live when the ignition is on?

It goes to wiper relay K10. In the fuse box in the car. Second row down -
    3rd from the left.

thanks m8. i remember the relay , square black one, i will check it tomoz
    for power,
i have got to go and buy some new leads for my multi-tester, the ends broke
    of the leads today.

do you know if it is possible to take out the fuse panel, to enable getting
to see the tracks on the rear of it?

If it is anything like my old Mk3 Cavalier the non-parking of the
wipers will be fixed by pulling out the previously mentioned wiper
relay & replacing it with a new one. About £10 last time I bought one
    from a Vauxhall dealer.
