Vectra Wiper Blades

I'm having trouble removing the wiper blades from the spline (after removing
the retaining nut) and reluctant to just lever them off.
Can anyone give me some advice please

Hi
In the haynes manual ( For a vectra C ) it says to get a small puller ( ie.
bearing puller )to remove the wiper assembly.

These get really tight - brute force is the key. give it a squirt of wd40 or
similar and then push them down and then pull them up.Get it rocking. It may
take an age but I have never not got one off.

Rather than risk breaking the wiper arm, or worse the wiper spindle;
as suggested invest in a proper wiper arm puller off ebay:
