2 pints over a month is not a lot to a drip!
i'd plumb for a leak which is so small it is undetectable, or it's
evaporating away as soon as it leaks.

    Iv'e got a 2001 Vecta 2.6 V6 that uses about 2 pints of water a
It's that hot under there any leaked water probably just vapourises the
instant it's free of the system :)

Have you tried leaving some paper or something underneath overnight ?
Won't tell you exactly where it's coming from but if there is a dripping
leak then it'll at least give you an indication of which part of the
    engine bay to look in.

Was the pressure test carried out whilst the engine was running?
Quite often the water pump will only leak if the engine is running.
On vehicles where the leak is difficult to detect, we pressure test AND use
a dye which shows up under ultra-violet light. IMO two pints per month isn't
acceptable, and the cause should be determined. Has the filler cap been
tested? Any misting on the inside windows?

Hi don't now if this is any use to you but i was losing coolant on my
    Calibra V6
and i was having a hell of a time finding it,in the end we found that one of
the heater pipes had been rubbing on the gear linkage, the hole was only a
    pinprick
and would only leak when the engine was hot.
As the leak was only a fine spray it vapourised because of the heat in the
engine bay so didn't show up as a leak as such.

  5. Iv'e got a 2001 Vecta 2.6 V6 that uses about 2 pints of water a month - went
to local main dealer and an independant garage for a hot & cold head &
pressure test, no fault was found. No emulsification in the oil, no leaks.
    Anyone here got any idea's?

V6 suffers from water leaking from the oil cooler. It is in the V of the
engine so the water doesn't drip but sits there and evaporates.
Have a look with a torch from the gearbox end under the manifold.
