When i start up it runs at about 1500 rpm and when in traffic it idles at
    about 1200 rpm.
Any opinion on what causing it?

The link below must refer to a different model and I can't find the air
    valve thingy.
Just one thing on this, and that is when I start up and the tick over is at
    1500 rpm then
if I rev it up high it then drops back to about 1000 rpm the slowly falls to
    850rpm.
If the air valve was dirty, wouldn't it be a bit more constant?
What bit tells the engine management the air intake temperature?

    Cheers.
