vectra roof mounted aeriel/reception

does anybody know how the roof mounted aeriel comes off to replace the
rubber base which has totally perished.
also the radio reception seems to go off for a fraction of a second , this
happens quite a lot. its not the radio as i have just fitted the cd tuner
version. this is exactly the same reception problem.

lower the rear head lining. Aerial held in by 17mm nut, need to disconnect
both wires as well. Easy DIY job.
