    Hi
The back light for my mileage odometer on my 95 vectra has blown, can anyone
advise me on how to replace it.
I've tried to access it from behind the fuse box but I can't get anywhere
    near it.

    Thanks in advance

Bit of a Bast**d job this.
You have to remove the plastic surrounds from the bottom of the dash, then
remove the air vents from the centre console and by the drivers door, remove
the steering wheel shroud and then you can get to the screws for the dash
    itself.
Remove the dash and change the lamp, then reverse the procedure.
Pain in the arse for a light bulb, I know !

While your in there replace ALL the lamps you can see.
Bit of a bu**er to do it twice. Make sure that you use known good
    branded bulbs (Osram, Philips etc).
