As subject, part price (AutoVaux states £ 0.00, too nice!) and labour
    time/price expected.

    TIA

N.B. If the faulty part is just the terminal silencer, is the whole exhaust
to be replaced? What is the expected life span / mileage for the catalyzer?
My car is @ 65K miles, 2nd hand, and I don't know if the catalyzer is the
original one or it was replaced yet. Passed MOT @ December 2004, I suppose
    the cat was still fine.

not sure about the Vectra exhaust ... but we've got a 1.8 Astra (2000) with
over 110k, has had the back box replaced, about 20k ago, and front section
has just been done. Had it since it was around a year old, had about 13k on
it, and it's still on the same cat or if it's been replaced it was done for
free and no-one told me :) ... afaik the cat will last for a *long* time
unless it's physically damaged in some way.

if it's just the back box that's faulty then you'll just need to replace
that section, no reason to replace parts that are still ok
