Does anyone know the default or factory code for the CCR600, It's showing
"SAFE" after my battery was disconnected.

    Thanks

should be on your documentation somewhere, sometimes a cerdit card or
scibbled in the user manual, unless it is a retro fit, then no hope i bet.
check all the paperwork, everything you got with the car, look for a 4
    figure code.
if not it's a trip to a car audio shop or your nice vauxhall dealer, where
you might get it for free.
else about £10-15 . AFAIK there is no factory default code or WHY?

I bought the Car on Wednesday but forgot to pick up the documentation, the
previous owner is in the process of posting it to me.
I've got a 300 mile trip to look forward to today without a radio.

Why not give him a call? He could call the supplying dealer if he has
    already posted it.

As a matter of interest, why is it in safe mode anyway? Does that mean
    you have not tested it?

I tested everything except the CD Changer (I didn't have any CD's with me),
when I got home I put a CD in and it played but with a loud beep every 3
seconds, a work colluegue told me that the default code was 1111, and while
buggering about with it and trying to put it in I have locked it (9 attempts
    left).
I think I will just wait until the handbook arrives, a lesson learned.
