The central locking mech has gone down on the rear door and will not open .I
have dismantled the trim and can see the lock .Any advise would be
appreciated on how to get past the central locking. I can not do it
    manually.
    Thanks r3duf

I'd be inclined to check 'what' the lock solenoid is not getting, +V or
    earth?
typically rear tailgates etc suffer from wire breaks in the flexi trunk that
    goes through
the frames to the rear doors.

the 'quickest' way to 'get it open' is to pull it's 2 wires & give it
12volts from a power supply or jump battery
with your feed one-way round it will open, with the feed reversed it will
    shut.

that will tell u if the solenoid is OK.
if it don't work the sol is burnout.
if u can make it work by an external feed then check the wires etc.

it 'might' be a fuse, but it is rare for a fuse to 'just' feed the one lock.

    is the sol burnt out.
I have a second hand unit to fit so hopefully this will cure the prob.
