    Hi All

I hope this is a "reasonably easy to oblige," plea for help.

When I bought my "Y" reg Vectra 6 months ago I had the driver & passenger's
door seals replaced as they had cracked and split! - (I have never known it
    on another car I've owned).

Recently I have carried a passenger who told me that the door was not
sealing well - I thought I had detected a slight rise in internal noise in
the car, but difficult to tell from the driver's seat when in motion.

Question - How do you adjust the doors properly without overdoing it?

Thanks for you input and time
    Regards

    Hi Alan
Many thanks for your prompt reply, I appreciate your input. I was wondering
if there were and graduations / notches or other means of carefully
increasing the tension on the seals rather than "adjusting by eye"?
    Thanks
    Regards

I think there are marks on there but you don't need them. It is an easy job.
The worst that happens is that you have to slacken it off and start again!
