Vectra B - disconnecting the battery

Hi
Can anyone advise me on how to disconnect the battery without causing the
car alarm to trigger, my neighbours are getting annoyed and my ears are
starting to suffer everytime I do it.

Loosen battery connector
Open car and switch ignition on
pull battery connector off within 15 seconds

Note you will need the radio codes to re-set the radio later, and may
have to re-program the electric windows by holding the up button for a
couple of seconds after the window is fully up
