    Hi, I recently bought a 2003 Vectra 1.8 club, used. I discovered
recently (when someone cut me up) that the horn does not work. I've
tested both relevant fuses and they seem fine. I will contact vauxhall
about this but I wondered if there was some way that the horn may have
been deactivated by the dealer while it was on their forecourt.

As an aside, I'm not familiar with the under-bonnet layout of the
Vectra, where would I expect to find the horn? I've had a good look
around but can't find anything that looks like a horn, perhaps they
forgot to put one in there : )

  2. Is the horn under the bumper?

I would just take it to a dealer though. It must be simple to identify the
    fault.

Thanks Alan, it is under the bumper - behind the nearside front
grille. The horn had been disconnected (presumably by the dealer) It's
now working. So much for the NetworkQ 141 point check!.

  4. It could have been disconnected when having paintwork repairs or shaken
loose. Either way they should have noticed.
