My 02 Vectra GSi 3.2 has started to vibrate very severely at the rear.
I had to replace both rear tyres 6 months ago because both wore on the
inner edge. The car now vibrates very badly between 55 and 75mph and
the Vauxhall main dealers have inspected the car and said both rear
tyres have worn again, causing the Tyres to "Step" this causing the
vibration. they say the balancing is fine and their only solution is
to change the tyres again...expensive and not a solution.
Anyone any ideas what might be causing this...is it rear tracking
perhaps, ive no idea and Vauxhall are not very helpful to say the
    least.,

I would ask them to do a 4-wheel alignment, might be that this is out,
may have clipped a curb at sometime.

Dont some tyre places (kwik fit, ats?) offer this check for free? only have
to pay if adjustment is done?
or even, if an 02 plate, when is first mot due? if soon, might be a good
idea to book it in. could be a suspension bush or maybe a wheel bearing.
