vauxhall zafira tourer battery light

    can anyone help driving home in zafira tourer when lights on dash started flashing and lost power steering but managed to get home problem diagnosed as alternator had this replaced car runs a dream but when you start the car battery light goes out but a few seconds later it comes on and stays on and i get a message saying battery something needs servicing,

    the battery is charging as it should, but battery light still stays on anyone got any reason why or is there a relay that may have packed up when the alternator went or is there something else i can do
