Vauxhall Vectra - LCD Display panel

    Hi Guys,

    I have just bought a 1996 Vauxhall Vectra which I absolutely love.
    The only problem is that the LCD doesnt display during normal driving.
    It does however light up fine when the headlights are on.

    I did notice that a lot of the functionality seems to be associated
    with the radio casette player which I had replaced with a regular (Non
    Vauxhall) cd player so could it be something to do with that? Is there
    any way I can make the display panel light showing the time/date and
    temp (or whatever) during normal driving.
