Just wondering if a vehicle in the UK would be a near match for the 1995
Holden Barina. I just saw some pictures of what seems to be a 1996 Vauxhall
corsa, and it looks spot on. What I need to know is, what does the extra
device that sits on top of the dashboard in line with the 3 round knbs for
the air conditioning unit. I understand it holds a clock and other devices
that are used in the barina. The car i have bought to wreck, is a 1995
Holden Barina, with a 5 speed opal 1.4 litre engine. The car was bought at a
auction for cars from deceased estates and is in good condition other than
being out of rego and looks like it wont pass a road worthy to be put back
on the road. So i want to swap my 1.3 litre with the newer rngine and use
the device sitting on top of the dashboard.

What else does the device use, as also seems like 12 or more wires coimg
    from it.

    Thanx

Probably Clock, Outside temperature, trip computer, radio/player
display, or if it's the higher spec unit things like low oil, tyre
pressure warnings and so on. It'll only work with all the right matching
    bits in the car

    "Hi Peter
I thought as much, tho the car i have is the base model, but i
dont know what or where the wires go to. If i could get hold of the wiring
schematics, i can study it and define where the wires end up.

    Thanks mate
