vauxhall car radio code decoders - any available for download ?

    failing that, how much do vauxhall main dealers charge for a code ?

  2. You might be able to, You need to know the make of the unit, Vaux will want
    at least £10 to tap a few keys on their keyboard.

    I know I need the make of the unit but I alos know there are ford radio key crackers
    out there just as there are for mobile phones. just wondered if there was one for
    vauxhalls. £10 isn't that bad, citroen wanted £30 from me, the mrs blagged it for free.

    I googled on "radio code" and found a download repository type place
    where they had (blaupunkt) code crackers based upon the serial number
    of the unit. now, I haven't tried the codes yet...

    too late, her indoors has just paid £18 to vauxhall, code will arrive tomorrow.
    probably after vauxhall has paid some geek to use a code generator they have
    downloaded of the interweb.

    It'll only work of course if the code hasn't been changed from factory
    original.
