Vauxhall Astra rocker box gasket cover

    Hi folks.
    My daughter has a 2017 Vauxhall astra which is currently awaiting a part in Bristol Drive Vauxhall dealership.
    Apparently the part they are waiting for there are none in the country. The part number is VOO or V00 12685410.Now can anyone tell me what this part is? I thought it was a gasket for a rocker box cover, but apparently it is made of metal. Now normally my daughter would have let dad deal with this from the start but unfortunately I have been ill and she didn't want to bother me with ( I had a TIA). Vauxhall have now had her car for 6 weeks and are using the frightener method telling her if she takes it and it goes wrong then it will cost 7k for a new engine. So if anyone can tell me what that part is I can start from there. Many thanks
