    fluke (noaddress as ) gurgled happily, sounding much
    like they were saying :
    <wild guess>

    One needs more manual intervention?

    In message etL4i.178$,
    AIUI, a semi-automatic machine simply assists the operator to remove/fit the
    tyre onto the wheel. With a fully automatic machine, you just put the wheel
    and tyre into/onto the machine, press 'Go' and the tyre is fitted/inflated
    without (much) further user intervention...

    Easiest way to find out is to Google both types, and read the descriptions
    of the machines that comes up...

    Been there, descriptions where very vague

    I like it from experienced people - anything can be wrote on advertising
    pages, google isn't the only source of info I'm afraid.

    On a semi the operator has to move the arm and on an automatic it does it
    for you, semi's are normally side arm where the arm swings in from the side
    and fully automatics are normally tilt back arms .
