    Hi
Is it ok to wire straight into the rear wiring loom ( using a 7 way bypass
relay ) to power the towbar sockets on a Vectra hatchback 2004 diesel 2.2. I
have read that there is sometimes a prefitted plug but I can't find one on
    my car.
    Regards
    Pete

I think that the plugs are fitted as standard on all wiring looms.
On my Astra - remove the rear plastic panel in the boot and the connector
can be fished out from one of the apertures in the rear panel.

I have removed the rear and side trims and there are no plugs, I have traced
wire from fuse box and it goes straight to the bulb cluster in both back
    lights.
