    two things obviously related!

i have a copy of tech2000 that i can't seem to get running on xp sp2
    correctly, always says database error
does it run on it ok?

the reason i want to get this going is to see how easy it is to re-align my
    wipers on the motor stalk

sintra 2.2 cd went in for cambelt etc etc a long time ago.
they did not put the wipers back properly
they now park in the lower half of the windscreen whilst on delayed wipe.
did go back to be fixed, but sadly that never happened so lost interest .

have a few days off b4 i go away, just like to get it done whilst i do the
necessary bits on the old girl b4 a 600mls run.
pretty savvy so should be able to do it, but would like pointers

    cheers

Try and run it with the network cable un plugged. It is probably is trying
to find a database on the network that doesn't exist.

If you don't have a network cable plugged in anyway.....then I'm stumped
    too.

well done martin, i got to the same conclusion, had a look at what it was
trying to do when it started to install and found it trying to read from
    there .
unplugged a cable and now running,

TIS 2000 BTW silly me not tech2000,
now all i have to do is to find where it says about setting the wipers up!

no me old fruit i didn't.
i'm wondering if it is in there?
i think not from what i remember someone saying a while back.

i've tried opel/vauxhall i might try opel or even chervrolet next
just a wee bitof a pig to know 'where' to even look in thesoftware menu
    #not a very clear program.

might see if i can find the instructionmanual on the disc
