timing belt astra

    does anyone know the cambelt interval change for a 2.0 16valve diesel 1999

    Doesn't that engine have a cam chain that does not need replacing ?

    The service book will tell you what was originally recommended but all 16
    valves are now 4 years/40,000 miles (whichever comes first).

    This is not just a Vauxhall thing. A lot of manufacturer's have done this.

    No belt fitted but a chain. Last the life of the engine - usually!!!!
