Tigra ignition barrel

When the key is inserted into the barrel it will turn to position 1 and
unlock the steering lock. The key then spins through positions 2 and 3 (as
though they're not there) without the barrel moving. No lights come on the
dash.

New barrel?

It seems as though the 'rotary switch' can be removed from the barrel
holder. I think I can see a small screw on the front of the barrel holder
right next to the 'rotary switch' which can only be accessed by removing the
steering wheel.

Is this how the 'rotary switch' is removed?

Can any similar part be fitted from any Vauxhall?
