I have just loked back and I always seem to tell people to talk to
their dealer. I am sorry about this but I am biased being a dealer!

This only works if you have a decent local dealer who is happy to talk
and give advice and has some decent staff. Unfortunately there are a
lot of dealers who are just interested in fleet business and have no
    idea of customer care.

A decent dealer should be flexible and reasonable on price and happy to
try and get Vauxhall to pay if the car is under warranty or has a full
    Vauxhall service history.

Well yes; for the first time in 20 years of Vauxhall ownership I used a
Vx dealer (Pat's garage Lyndhurst): To change the cam cover gaskets on
my wife's Omega V6- again. They were significantly cheaper than the
local independants or my local Vx dealer, who unfortunately comes into
the 'fleet business only' category. trouble is they lent my wife an
Agila whilst they had the Omega; and she prefers that to the Omega....

If this is true, the Vauxhall are waisting millions on pretty much
useless quality assurance syestem and customer care centre.

Surely they can introduce a simple complaints procedure within
dealerships so that when auditted by vauxhall they can proove
the are resolving customer complaints in house.

If they can't, they loose the franchise.

But then again, where would Vauxhall be able to sell cars.
