    Hi,

I've got a 1999 V reg 1.6 petrol Zafira which I've had to change the
    battery on.

Everything is working great accept the steering wheel stereo controls.
The stereo is a Philips CD/Radio and it works fine on the digital
    display.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Are you sure the steering wheel controls were working before? I cannot
see how changing a battery would affect the remote controls.

Providing you have entered the code and got the stereo working nothing
    else will have been affected.

    Hi,

Yep 100% sure they worked before, and the stereo never asked for a
    code, it just worked.

    I can't of anything either :-D

Can I assume the controls just plug into the back of the stereo then?
no posh serial connection or anything like that?

    Thanks

You would normally need to enter a code after a flat battery.

The plugs do just plug into the back of the stereo. The leads are
clipped to the radio cage so they are unlikely to have come adrift if
the stereo is fully pushed in.
