Stereo help needed pls...

Hi!
Does anyone know how the wiring goes to fit a new stereo into a MK3 Astra
(1994) as the display in the dash is integrated with the non-display stereo
that comes as standard in the car.

You know you can get aftermarket stereo upgrades that use the same wiring
and separate display do you?

I want to be able to take the stereo out the car when I sell it and put into
my next car.
So it needs to be a regular stereo.

If you don't want to use the dash display i.e. have a transportable stereo,
you should be able to get a unit and fit it, using adaptor to make the unit
work - have a chat with your local supplier/fitter to see how the various
units can work, and how much they cost etc.

It's worth looking at what Alan Steele has to offer either way...
