Steering wheel cut out and loss of power.

    Hi all was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem I’ve had. I was driving to work yesterday on a dual carriageway and all of a sudden my steering wheel went tight and I had a loss of power I had to pull over and phone the AA.Diagnostics have come back okay from AA and a Vauxhall specialist garage. Anybody have any ideas what’s wrong ? The car worked fine after i turned the ignition off and then back on.
