spark plugs?

    could anyone tell me the correct spark plugs to fit to a 99 astra 1.6 8v
    ..haynes reccomends multi electrode plugs
    (champion rc10 dmc) is this correct? any help would be much appreciated.

    I would ask your Vauxhall dealer. Even the twin electrode ones are
    reasonably priced and you are better off buying Vauxhall ones rather than
    equivalents.

    stay away from champion.............NGK (but thats just a technicians
    viewpoint)
    i believe (dont have the book to hand) you need BCPR6ES
    and no you dont need double or multi electrode...not even platinum.just
    regular resistor type plugs are good in these.
