    Hi
I've just bought a Network Q New type Astra 1 yr old. I was only supplied
with one set of keys. I was given some bull about they always come with one
    set...
Does anyone know if they should supply a spare set if its a Network Q???

On further investigation I see it costs £100 for a replacement so I'm
buggered if I lose it...it also begs the question whre is the original
spare??? Can Vauxhall re code a key for any other car (any therefore making
a crafty moneyspinner with my spare)???

    Cheers
    G

Q cars should have 2 keys - get onto your dealer and hassle them. If you get
no joy ring Vauxhall customer services.

  6. Bullshit indeed, every second hand car, or new for that matter, I've
bought has had two sets of keys, raise a stink with them, complain to
Vauxhall, be a pain, difficult for a Brit I know but it does work.

Don't want to worry you, but if 1 key is missing - who's got it?

New key code required just in case?

Yes I thought that, but then I suppose any dodgy Vauxhall worker may have
access to the key database and can make a spare of any car they wanted??? Or
    not perhaps?

    Previous Owner?

    Previous Owners mate?

Getting a key made is one thing (probably have to keep records etc ) - but
one simply going missing is another.

Whilst were on the subject of Network Q. Does anyone know what the 114
checks are? or is it the same check done 114 times.........is the engine
in.......is the engine in.....is the engine in.

Network Q is bollocks as far as my experience goes.
