Has the car sold yet? If so, well done, you've managed to sell it *way*
    above market value.

If not, take a look at www.autotrader.co.uk. Do a nationwide search for
Vauxhall Corsas, maximum 5 years old, with maximum 40k on the clock, and
you'll see that your friend's asking price is way too high. somewhere
between £2000 and £2500 would be much nearer the mark.

Flame red looks the business once it's nicely polished IMHO. Looks
better than metallic if you ask me.

Was looking at an Astra coupe in flame red and it was the business.

Be wary of Flame Red in future. They look good when cared for but they fade
and are difficult to sell secondhand.

The same goes for all non-metallics

Is flame red a colour that would have been used on a '97 mk3 Astra, quite
a bright red? If it is I'd advise against getting anything that colour. My
Astra attracts chips and scratch's very easily and with a white undercoat
they are very prominent. The paint seems very thin and comes off very
    easily.

I'd swear it will chip if you look at it the wrong way!

Yep, my Corsa is Flame Red but it has been looked after and is very
    bright.

Don't think I'll have too much trouble selling it when the time comes.

Was looking pinky on the bonnet in patches a while ago so a rub of
T-Cut and some Colour magic and it looks like new.

It's hard work to keep it that way but it's worth it and flame red is
definately a colour I will consider again in the future.

I've seen more pink corsas and punto's though than I have in the same
condition as my P Reg corsa.

It all comes down to care in the end. Look after it and it'll look
like new. Neglect it and your car turns pink.

Yep. I think you've got the measure of me. But it's "****", not how you
    spelt it.

    Have a nice day.

And you're a clueless idiot with a history of making irrational statements
    out of the blue.

Nice attempts on the website Guestbook, by the way. I'll just continue to
delete any entries that you put up, and since I actively edit the site, it's
no bother for me. But it's nice to know that you actively visit my site on
    a regular basis; thanks!

Next time he tries to mess with your guestbook, try editing the comments
and make him look at the nice things he wrote about you ... lmao
