Well... I'm getting a new Zafira shortly, and I want to replace the
in-car CD player with a custom DVD/MP3 player.
I've seen on the Net some places offer some kind of DIN converter
which allows you to hook the steering wheel controls up to most kinds
    of dash players.
Can anyone recommend any players that will work well with the
    controls?
Also, what will happen to the current screen where the info is
displayed - will the details be still shown on that, or is it only
    compatible with VDO stuff?

On another note, my 51 Vectra SRI decided to break it's steering rack
    today!
Flipping was in a car park, started reversing and there was a funny
noise and then tried going forward - it was worse than a tank.
All the power steering fluid started leaking away, and the AA bloke
said the whole rack will need to be replaced!
    It has done about 73K.
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar to this?

I run a Sony head unit with my 53 Zafira. You can get an adaptor that allows
use of the steering wheel controls and the head up display panel. Was told
it only works with Sony stuff though.

    Got my unit from www.bass-junkies.com
