replacing astra g warning light

Discussion in 'Astra' started by Uk_friendly_fire, Jun 20, 2004.

  1. Cars I had in the past I just used to reach up from the footwell to behind
instrument cluster. Don't think I can do this now on my Astra.
Any ideas how to replace the trailer indicator dash light on the instrument
    panel?
    Ahhhh bygone days

Not actually had cause to do it myself but the book says it's a steering
wheel off and instrument panel out job. Would be worth physically checking
if it is possible for a contortionist to do it without before you go that
far though. Suggest you invest in a Haynes manual if you do have to take
the panel out. These only go up to year 2000 AFAIK but cover most of the
stuff on later models and include the safety precaution for working near the
    airbags.

    Good luck,

You've got to remove the instrument panel, not perticularly hard, just a few
    torx screws to get access
