remote central locking

    hello ,does anyone have any idea why both my vectra keys have stopped
    working my central locking , both have brand new batterys , cant
    understand it , any ideas ..........thanks Mark

    Try putting ignition on and pressing the lock button on each fob in turn.

    Have you tried 're-syncing' the keys with the ignition. Theres usually
    something in the handbook about it. I know how to do it for an Astra but not
    a vectra.

    As mentioned, you almost certainly just need to re-program them --
    they 'lose' the program if they're operated a few times outside the
    range of the car - no idea why but it's what the handbook says. Just
    sit in the car, turn on the ignition and operate each unit to
    lock/unlock the doors - should work. If not then it must be a faulty
    sensor in the car - probably expensive.

    It's because they shift codes to fool "code grabbers" They need to "talk"
    to each other
