Recommended Front lights / bulbs for Corsa B?

Hi guys,

I've noticed that the front lights on my Corsa B (93,K reg, 1.2LS) aren't
great and in fact they seem to be getting worse. Battery is fine and it
gets a decent run every day (40+ miles) so the battery gets a chance to
charge up.

Any recommendations for better bulbs / lights.

PS. Took it in for a Pre-MOT - needs new springs and something doing to the
wiper mechanics. Not bad for a car which cost £450 and currently has 107.5k
on the clock.
 
Bulbs don't last forever, the filaments eventaully burn out and fracture -
i.e. bulb is "blown"

However the reason this happens is that over a period of time - a long
period of time - the filaments actually get thinner, and the metal is
deposited on the glass envelope, mkig the light dimmer, the filaments also
sag, thus upsetting the focus.

Or, of course, on a car this age the reflector might be on the way out ...

Try new standard bulbs and see what happens
