radio code

I had to disconnect my battery on my 97 astra hence the radio needs its
security code which i dont have! How do i get a new one and what do i need
to get it?

either a vauxhall dealer who might, give it for free (should be listed on
their database)

or one of the many 'car audio' shops can reprog it

about £15 max

i'd check all the paperwork & in any hidy hole (fuse box spare wheel holder
etc)
it will be a 4 digit number

Yep - and behind sun-visor....

found a bloke who came out to read the code and charged £20, vauxhall
wanted £17 take the radio in, fill out a form, fax it to vauxhall and
wait!!!!
