radio code

    hi guys another prob on this vectra I just bought
    took the radio out tonight to check the wiring see if my mp3 player would
    slot in (it doesn't)
    didn't realise the block wiring into the cage
    so it instantly disconnected the radio
    now it says SAFE when I switch it on
    waiting for a code I presume
    the code is written on the radio body (I think its the code a four digit
    number)
    but I have no clue about the procedure for entering it
    nothing seems to budge the safe message to allow code input
    its a Phillips 400 radio cassette that's installed at present
    if anyone can help with the required procedure
    I would greatly appreciate it

    well just to let ya's know
    I found the info I needed on the V.V.O.C. forum
    so thx anyway guys but prob is now sorted
