Problem ZAFIRA-press brake pedal headlights come on, & brake lights do not work

when i press the brake the brake pedal on my Zafira the headlights come on,
when i let go they go off.
If I switch my headlights on at the lights switch the the high level L.E.D
brake light stays on and brake lights will not work.
Can any one suggest a cure to this problem? (Apart from a visit to a
vauxhall dealership)

Check the brake-sidelight bulbs in the rear. If an incorrect bulb is fitted,
it will do exactly as you described.

had a go at a zafira some months back that had a simular lighting bug.
turned out to be the OSR cluster no getting an earth properly, connector had
rainwater corrosion
