Hi Forum, My Astra Merit is a K Reg 5 door hatch, which I've owned for 21 years. Over the last 2-3 months I've been having a big problem with battery failure. It has been at the garage 2 times to have the battery charged, but keeps going flat. I finally gave up and my garage fitted a completely new battery 4 weeks ago and after being garaged for just 5 days this new battery is completely flat again. Not even lighting up the dash. I now think something is wrong and the power is being drained somehow. Any ideas on what is going wrong, please, so I can suggest it to my mechanic next week. I want to keep this car on the road.
