Philips CAR 400 radio user manual

As in the object, I'm looking for a copy of that manual. I bought yesterday
a used '97 Vectra, and the car stereo user manual is missing. Someone can
help me finding that? A scanned copy, a PDF, a web location, anything
useful...

If no joy, email Alan Steele (a Vauxhall dealer) who regularly posts here.



He's usually a great help with this kind of stuff and is not expensive.

If you get stuck I have a Vx Audio manual which covers
CAR200/CAR300/CAR400/CCR600/CDR500/CCRT700 & NCDR1100/NCDR1500
and so long a you are not "busting a gut" I don't mind scanning the relevant
section for you.

Unfortunately, they don't have it, they've got to get it from the
manufacturer... and it doesn't come cheap! :-(

Are you able to post the scanned pages file somewhere, or do you prefer to
mail them to me? As I'm a little bit concerned to give my e-mail in a public
newsgroup, I may set up a web page where you can upload them. Is it OK?

If you want to send me your mail or e-mail off list that's fine - you can do

I pick up from there, so no direct mail to filter - it just bogs up yahoo if
spammed (;<D))))))) and I move to a new address.
Please note that the pages are small, probably 3 to an A4 sheet so to
optimize transmission on internet it will take a little while & work. but if
you are prepare to wait - or I could scan to print or photocopy at work -
about 14/15 (small) pages from memory.
Not really a problem, whatever.
